    1999 - 2001 Managed a team of 30 engineers R&D in charge of surgical mobile c-arm x-ray equipments for global markets.
    Lead the engineering transfer from western Europe to India with an outstanding productivity achieved on the product cost.
    Hired and ramped-up 18 engineers in various areas: software, hardware, high-voltage, mechanical, algorithms, quality, serviceability, manufacturability, safety & regulatory, etc.
    Introduced a new product designed in India.
    Supported the Installed Base for 5000 systems worldwide for parts/obsolescence, safety/quality issues and customer complaints.

    1998 - 1999 Lead 11 engineers handling safety & quality issues on a worldwide installed base of 30,000 x-ray systems (mammography, vascular, rad&fluoro, mobile) with an addition of 25 more engineers assigned to the program.
    Managed the EMC lab (Electromagnetic Compatibility) used during product development for all European projects.

    1998 - 1998 Launched 20 “six sigma” projects (DFSS/DMAIC/DFR) in multi-functional areas (Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers and Service) in the 3 continents (America, Europe and Asia) for I&W cost reduction for vascular products.
