    Main achievements:
    • Negotiation: large exposition to customers (British Airways, Qantas, Lufthansa …).
    • Recruitment: permanent recruitment effort. Project team grew from 20 to 100 in 2 years.
    • Planning & Delivery: all planned software deliveries delivered on time.
  • AMADEUS SAS - Senior Development Center Manager

    Sophia Antipolis 2000 - 2002 Amadeus – Broadvision joint development center responsible - Broadvision Redwood City, (CA)
    My role was to create a mixed (Amadeus/Broadvision) software development project team with the objective to deliver an e-commerce travel vertical web application that leverages Broadvision self service framework.
    Main achievements:
    • Close collaboration with the business leader to define the best product.
    • People management: I had to learn the way to run interviews and manage people the US way.
    • Delivery of the product on time with high quality standards.

    This new application has been chosen as the foundation of the OPODO web site.
  • AMADEUS SAS - Project Manager

    Sophia Antipolis 1996 - 2000 Active participation in the launch of a new business unit (New Distribution Technologies). The goal of this new aMaDEUS entity is to increase the number of reservations by providing an online booking engine through the Internet network. I contributed to the success of NDT making technical choices, defining development methods and building a team in an international multi-site (France, Spain and United States) organization within an aggressive schedule.

    This organization is better known now as Amadeus e-travel and grew from 3 to 250 staff and offers online booking engines for airlines (Amadeus e-Retail) and corporations (Amadeus e-Travel management).

    Technical responsible of several software components: real time / multithreaded software architecture, object oriented design, code review.
