• Areva - Process engineer - Testing & start-up

  Paris La Defense 2013 - 2015 As a process engineer working on the start-up of Comurhex 2 (Uranium chemical conversion plant built for Areva – 500 Million € project), my main responsabilities & accomplishments were:
  
  1. Training the production staff to the new processes of Comurhex II
  - Redaction of training documents (5 technical presentations of over 100 slides + exercises, etc.)
  - Conducting theoretical training sessions (about 500 hours, 40 people)
  - Supervising the practical training of the operators during the start-up
  
  2. Supervising the start-up of the concentration unit (3 stages MVR) of Comurhex II
  - Commissioning the elementary testing, redaction of start-up trial protocols and analyzing the results
  - Planning and follow-up of the start-up (5 teams of 6 people working in night shifts over 6 months)
  - Dysfunction analysis & improvement suggestions based upon the expertise of 5 experts in different technical fields (process engineering, automation, electricity, instrumentation, mechanics)
  
  3. Conducting the start-up of the automated drum emptying unit of Comurhex II
  - Supervising the elementary testing (2 operators in day-work during 3 months), redaction of start-up trial protocols
  - Conducting the start-up trials on the field (6 weeks in night shifts)
  - Fixing instrumentation & mechanical issues, and suggesting automation improvements
  
  Technical skills: process engineering (concentration MVR, dissolution, purification, filtration, NOX treatment, rectification of nitric acid), automated mechanical line

• Areva - Testing & start-up engineer - Cooling systems

  Paris La Defense 2011 - 2013 As a testing engineer working on the start-up of of Georges Besse II (Uranium enrichment plant built for Areva – 3 Billion € project), I was conducting the testing of the cooling system of the plant.
  
  My main responsabilities were:
  - Redaction of 5 full trial protocols, carrying out the testing & analyzing the results
  - Validating the contractors’ trials procedures (about 100 documents)
  - Supervising the contractors’ testing teams (3 contractors, about 10 people)
  - Analyzing the dysfunctions analysis & making improvement suggestions
  
  Technical skills: process engineering (heat exchanges, refrigerating units), Electricity, Instrumentation, Regulation, Automatism

• GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals - Technical shutdown planner

  Marly-le-Roi 2011 - 2011 I was supervising the summer shutdown of a vaccine production workshop, as a contractor for GSK Bio (Rixensart plant - pharmaceutical industry)
  
  My duties:
  - tasks planning & follow-up (MS Project, over 1'000 tasks)
  - organizing daily meetings to manage coactivity (maintenance, validation & project teams), re-plan activities and monitor the progress
  
  My realizations:
  - the re-start of the workshop occured on the scheduled date
  - most of the planned tasks were realized on time

• Servier - Internship: Project manager

  Suresnes 2010 - 2010 I did my last-year internship at Oril Industry, which is the subsidiary of Servier (French pharmaceutical company) in charge of the chemical production of the active ingredients.
  
  As a member of the investment department of the plant, I was conducting the preliminary studies phase of the revamping of a waste waters treatment plant (budget ~ 500 k€)
  I also conducted smaller projects to the end (installation of a rolling machine & of a caustic soda unloading post)

• Integrity Testing Laboratory Inc. - Internship: R&D assistant engineer

  2009 - 2009 I did this 3-month internship at ITL Inc., which is a lab specialized in testing and developping innovative materials for space, automotive & electronics industries, located near Toronto (Ontario)
  
  As an assistant to one of the R&D engineers, I was carrying out conformity testing (thermo-optical properties, resistivity measurements, erosion tests, etc.) on polyimid materials used in satellites’ sun shields
  I also worked on peripheral subjects such as bibliographic researches and caracterization tests in order to improve the surface treatment on another material

• Schneider-Electric - Internship: assembly line operator

  Rueil Malmaison 2008 - 2008 This 1-month intership was dedicated to the discovery of the industrial environment
  I was working on the assembling line of High intensity circuit breakers (Masterpact NW)
