Tasks included:-
Making reservations for passengers travelling worldwide using AMADEUS ALTEA GDS (markets mastered: Arab, VIP, American, Canadian, British, French);
Pricing, ticketing (through VAD option), confirmation;
Ticket change and revalidation in case of an ETKT;
Helpdesk (for both local and foreign travel agencies);
Handling clients claims received by phone;
Reporting flights details using Liseline as a system (details include estimated time of departure (ETD), delay time, estimated time of arrival (ETA)...), etc (Front Office);
Handling schedule change, delay, cancellations and advising passengers with that; SMS (notifying clients through SMS option of launched promotions, schedule change of a certain flight, new served destinations, etc) (Back Office)
Tracking lost bags using WORLD TRACER as a system;
Getting in touch with stations world wide through Teletype option;
Requesting good match bags through ROH transaction;
Amending AHL (Property Irregularity Report) elements;
Reporting updates to passenger, etc.
