    Puteaux 2015 - 2015 I integrated a multinational team involved in providing offshore technical assistance to various clients (Total, BP, SBM, Shell, ...) for new constructions or conversions according to different rules (BV, ABS, LR, ...).


    ► Main duties:

    ● 2D modeling of floating units cross-sections in order to check the longitudinal structure (plating and stiffeners)
    ● 3D finite element modeling of FPSO, FSO, FSU ...
    ● Fatigue and strength analysis (buckling and yielding) of offshore floating units
    ● Apply BV rules for Offshore units
    ● Propose and criticize the modifications that could be applied to the structure

  • The University of Texas at Austin - Assistant de recherche

    2014 - 2014 worked on two different research subjects at the department of Petroleum and
    Geosystems Engineering :
    • Finite Element Modeling of coupled loadings applied to wellbore stability of
    deepwater wellbores using the software freefem++ ;
    • 3D reconstruction of natural and induced fracture networks in coal samples
    imaged through X-rays computed microtomography.
