  • Senetsy - CTO & Co-founder

    2009 - 2015 Senetsy, system integrator, VAR, solution provider.
    Tasks. All aspects of pre-sales and post-sales engineering, advanced technical
    consulting, project management, collaboration with Juniper, Brocade, Extreme and
    other vendors, deep involvement in sales. Board member functions: engineering
    expertise development, engineering and sales processes identification and
    formalization, business automation, internal IT supervising.

    Achievements. Annual revenue growth from zero to $1.5M. Managed and
    participated in dozens of customer projects realized every year. Company gained a
    reputation for its strong expertise in enterprise networking, security and regional
    ISP architectures.

    Compliance with Juniper Select Partner status requirements. Developed professional
    relationship with the SE teams of Juniper, Brocade and Extreme.

    Formalized and implemented new business processes: consultative engineering
    sales work-flow from a lead to a closed deal; responsibility and tasks separation
    inside a sales team (sales manager and systems engineer); internal education and
    professional development for engineers: labs, books, conferences and workshops.

    Initiated and managed internal projects for sales automation: ERP and CRM systems

  • Akado Telecom - Senior Network Security Engineer

    2003 - 2009 Tasks. Deployment and operation of all sorts of firewalls and NAT: Juniper
    NetScreen, ISG, SSG, SRX, Cisco PIX/ASA, CheckPoint, WatchGuard etc. Intrusion
    prevention, DDoS mitigation. General routing and switching.

    Achievements. Designed and implemented one of the earliest managed firewall
    services on the market. Implemented protection for public e-mail and web services
    as well as for key DC customers (major Russian governmental and commercial
    accounts). Mitigated multiple severe DDoS attacks (10-15 Gbps considered severe at
    the time). Architected a managed DDoS mitigation service based on Arbor
    PeakFlow/TMS as well as architecture of Lawful Intercept subsystem (didn't
    participate in implementation). Gained very strong experience in stateful firewall,
    NAT, IPSec and load balancing technologies.

  • AMT Group - Trainee

    2003 - 2003 system integrator, VAR, solution provider, major
    Cisco partner in
    Tasks. As a distinguished Cisco Network Academy student was invited by a major
    Cisco partner for a summer internship. Participated in various activities of the three
    main departments: Projects, Field Engineering and TAC. Everything from
    documentation to physical layer engineering, PoCs, pre-configuration etc. Internal
    workshops with senior engineers and lab trainings.

    Achievements. First and invaluable experience in real-life networking and
    participating in large-scale projects. A lot of hands-on practice in field-engineering,
    fundamentals of network design and planning. Pivot from a programmer's career to
    networking.

  • TransNetService - Programmer & circuit designer

    2002 - 2002 Tasks. Circuit design and firmware development for GPS tracking devices.
    Integration of GPS, GSM, FM transmitter, and user interface components.
    Developing in C for TI MSP430 micro-controllers.

    Achievements. Developed the user interface part for a vehicle tracking GPS device.
    Significantly improved C and embedded software programming skills. Learned
    MPS430 micro-controllers, GSM modems and other types of components.
