Working for Ariane II Luxembourg since 1997, the company became Ariane - Groupe Transiciel and then Sogeti Luxembourg. I started my carreer as a Web developper in 1997. I started working using JEE technologies as a early adopter in 2000.
To ensure high software quality, I focused early on SOA architecture, even at the class model of the applications. I heavily promoted RUP and Agile-UP methods to design the applications model using a top-down approach.
I started leading developments of multi-tiers applications since 2001 as a project manager and technical team leader. I moved to application architect role in 2005. Since this date, I handle this role on various big projects.
I am actually working on a part-time basis on multiple SOA oriented projects either on Solution Architecture and Application Architecture. Most of the projects I am in charge of include a legacy integration based either on mainframe technologies (COBOL / CICS) through JCA connectors, either on UNIX technologies (integration of standalone UNIX applications using REST-Full Web Services).
Being responsable for the coding quality of the developped software, I have a strong interest into Continuous Integration platforms, such as Hudson (JEE) or Team Foundation Server (.NET).
I am also technical writer to help Sogeti reply to call for tenders and I am involved in the recruitment process by ensuring the technical screening of candidates.
