Question 1: Tell me about yourself?
• Well, I passed my BTS from Paris ACE School, in 1991. I’m an accountant. I have been married for 23 years. We have a son and his first name is Julien. He is fourteen years and we are living in Senlis.
Question 2: What were your responsibilities?
• I was in charge of the accountancy of several firms and I used to manage a team of five people for eighteen years.
Question 3: What did you like or dislike about your previous job?
• I liked to answer any questions about my work and of course about the society in which I was working.
• And what I did not like is to be unable to answer to the questions or to be unable to answer on time.
Question 4: What is your greatest strength?
• I would say I am a team player and I am organised. My vision of management is doing the right thing at the right time. This enables me to get work done in time and in accordance with the rules. I’m also able to prioritise my work and to work under pressure.
Question 5: And what is your greatest weakness?
• While working on projects, I’m a big picture person. This means that from time to time, I might miss minor details. So now, when I’m managing a project, I make sure that I have the support I need to keep an eye on specific details.
• I think successful management is about getting the right team.
Question 6: How do you handle stress and pressure?
• I’m the kind of person who stays calm under pressure, and handles stress fairly easily.
• I react to stress in a positive manner and gain control of the situation rather than allowing stress to remain in control.
• Running helps me to cope with stress. I run every week-end, and sometimes, in the evenings. It is a great stress reducer.
• I actually work better under pressure and I’ve found that I enjoy working in a challenging environment.
Question 7: Describe a difficult work situation / project and how you overcame it. (What major challenges and problems did you face? And how did you handle them?)
• My main challenge and recognized problem, was to set up analytical state transports costs per trip. (With the Business object software)
The team and I have thought long and hard and did not find a satisfactory solution. The update process was too long to get.
So we took a different path. Our research has accomplished on an analytical result by establishments.
Question 8: What were the biggest accomplishment / failure in this position?
• The most influential important accomplishments were those that met the general ledger and management controls, to be able to develop dashboards so that senior management (or operational) decisions can be made knowingly.
• The biggest failure is not having succeeded in the establishment of a state of reporting in the transportation company. I sought to give a precise statement of costs per trip.

• I would like to have this work, in order to work in a Japanese company.
It seems to me that the Japanese state of mind is working in righteousness and respect.

• Because my first challenge is always to give a true and fair view of the accounts. And because I think I'm the right person for you. My main assets for a business are: organization, autonomy, rigor, availability and capacity to take initiatives with a specific involvement.

• My goals are simple. In short term my desire would be to offer my services, experience and to contribute to the smooth running and development of a company; In medium term, to show my skills and qualities to end a busy career recognized by my employer.

• Early in my career, I had a mentor who helped me a lot, we are still in touch.
• My best boss was a manager who enabled me to take on more responsibility as I progressed in my job.
• I have had other bosses with a more hands off management style, but I have appreciated the interactions with the first manager I mentioned.
• I have learned from each boss I have worked with. From the good ones, what to do, from the challenging ones – what not to do.
I have honestly learned something from each boss I have had.
In summarise
The less exciting position is for sure the one I had because I did not get the interactions between my work and the other professions in the business field.
So (in this and as the years went by), I have developed and improved my skills and qualities.
My motivations are simple and without demands. I like my job and my training. Today I want to return to a private company after some time in the public service, to join a dynamic and changing company, to answer to any kind of applications.
My self-portrait can be summarized as follows: respect for others, listening, dialogue and firmness in my words and perseverance in difficulty.
