Overall responsibility for the operational planning of production logistics
1. Manages the team of Logistics personnel charged with the task of order preparation and fulfilment. This team is responsible for all inbound and outbound Logistics, order preparation.
2. Ensures timely deliveries of raw materials and components to internal production department in the needed quantities.
3. Ensures that timely, efficient,, and accurate deliveries of customer orders.
4. Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements in delivery performance.
5. Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
6. Control inventory levels by conducing physical counts.
In charge in procurement activities and monitor supply chain activities for mechanical components
1. Handling procurement activities for raw materials and being responsible in controlling and monitoring purchasing activities, inluding receive Purchase Requisitions, get quotations, evaluate quotations, negociate with vendor for the best prices and best quality, prepare Puchase Orders, ensure proper terms and conditions
2. Preparing purchasing budget and maintain/improve budget limitations to meet plan annual objectives and standards according to sales/prodcution projections.
3. Preparing short and long term plans to determine the procurement objectives
4. Drawing up and monitoring procurement plan/schedule to meet production schedules, delivery targets and standard inventory levels
5. Coordinating with prodcution officers/logistics to ensure smooth supply of raw materials
6. Preparing purchase order to the suppliers, checking and verify purchase orders. Monitoring the processing and scheduling of running items to suppliers
7. Monitoring the suppliers delivery of materials and PO generated
8. Coordinating the back loading of non conforming items/excess quantity delivery to Suppliers.
9. Maximum the usage of inventory with limited credit
10. Ensure agreed service level by monitoring and taking required action on supplier‘s lead time, secure delivery performance and information visibility
11. Follow-up, analyze and take actions to continuously improve supplier performance
12. Daily troubleshooting and at the same time find solutions to avoid similar future problems
