Context:
Smurfit Kappa is a world player in paper based packaging with leading market positions in Europe and in Latin America. 41 000 employees and Sales of €7.3 bn in 2012.
Our Pan-European Sales Team based in Paris is dealing with Customers also operating on a European basis giving them the advantage of a focused account team, access to the full capabilities of Smurfit Kappa (200+ plants in Europe), Packaging Innovation and Cross Learning.
Role:
- Commercial:
Working closely with +10 countries Key Account Managers and our national and local colleagues for + 40 plants.
Responsible for day to day pricing, calculating and implementing Price reviews according to contracts, keeping Price Lists up to date, Sales & Volume Reporting & Presentation to top management.
Following-up and solving Late Payments ( -500K€ in 1 year).
Coordinate the contracts and agreements within defined business plans and strategies
- Projects:
Responsible for coordinating tenders involving several countries (+30M€ involved), preparing profitability analysis and participating to the negotiation.
Driving the improvement of our Level of Service, improvement of stock management, of sustainability and reporting of it.
- Strategy:
Customer Account Plans, Keep Market Share updated, and strategic presentations to the top management of Smurfit Kappa
-Communication:
Deal with complex business situations, delicate political issues between companies and countries (internally and externally) and generate complex proposals to Pan European customers
=> Turnover managed: between € 100 - 200 M.
