En résumé

Manage a research project within a framework of University/Nestlé collaboration: Impact of different nutritional supplementations on brain development, brain metabolism and cognitive function, focusing on interventions in the perinatal period.

• Form hypothesis, design studies and present reports to partners (project managers, head of research department and director of research center)
• Meeting deadlines; promote the continuity of the collaboration
• Submit protocols and reports to veterinary authority in respect with federal laws for animal testing
• Manage implementation of technicals and acquisition of in vivo and ex vivo experiments on rodents
• Supervise technician, interact with collaborators (biologists, physicists, clinicians, informaticians)
• Speak at scientific seminars and international meeting

Achievement: 2 -3 nutrients tested per year; one nutrient with promising effects on animal model: redaction of scientific publications and transfert of data from bench to bedside (clinical trial in Western Europe in preparation).
