Dealing principally with natural resources planning and management with particular focus on fisheries and aquaculture, I have been employed during the last decades with the International organizations (FAO, IFAD, ADB, WB, USAID, …) and with US and European overseas consulting firms.
As a former senior economist, I was engaged in development and management programs, identification of investment opportunities and business strategies as well as projects evaluation. During this period, I have gone through a long and comprehensive process of identifying and analyzing the economic and social factors intrinsic mainly, to the development of fisheries policy and to a meaningful strategic planning proposals.
J'ai accumulé une expérience d'environ 30 ans en qualité d’expert en gestion et aménagement des ressources naturelles. J’ai pu mener plusieurs missions d’étude concernant des programmes d’aménagement et de développement des pêches.
Durant les dernières années, j’ai pu notamment collaborer avec des Cabinets européens, travaillant pour le compte de la Commission Européenne, pour mener des études et diagnostiques de l'industrie de transformation et de valorisation des produits de la mer.
Mon nom demeure placé sur le registre d’experts de plusieurs banques et organisations internationales (Banque Africaine de Développement, Banque Mondiale, Organisation des Nations Unies pour l’Alimentation et l’Agriculture …). Parmi mes affiliations professionnelles, j’ai été Vice Président du Comité Technique du Centre de Commercialisation “Infosamak” de la FAO à Bahrain.
