    • Projects: Construction of grandstands (tribune) of horses’ racecourse (Hippodrome de Longchamp) and a Tennis stadium (Roland Garros - Court Philippe Chatrier) in Paris.
    • Project’s stages: Pre-Project (avant-projet) and execution.
    Duties:
    o Monitored the racecourse construction project. Supervised 3 design engineers and a draughtsman. Acted as a liaison between the project director and the contracting authority. I organized meeting, established minute and furnished updated on the project to my team according to the architect’s (client) plan evolutions.
    o Designed the project’s steel and concrete structures from architects’ plans with the software Hergos.
    o Sized (calculs [FR]) the steel structure (such as beams, cantilever beams, posts, joists, racks, columns) and produced calculation’s notes for the client such as assumptions (hypothèse), calculations (calculs), modeling and surveying, reaction loads of the metallic structure on pole or on the concrete.
    o Monitored contractor evolution depending on the project.

    Duties:
    o Member of design team and designed the metallic and composite structures of these 3 projects.
    o Established design calculations notes such as modeling, notebooks schemes, reactions load of the metallic structure on the concrete, assumptions (hypothèse), calculations (calculs), assembly (assemblages).

  • DJP Ingénierie - Internship Structural Design Engineer / Stage Ingénieur Etude

    2012 - 2012 English:
    • Projects: Rehabilitation of two buildings of a shopping mall in Paris (les HALLES Chatelet). Project’s stages: execution 
    Duties:
    o Sized the 2 floors, of both buildings’ composite joists and steel joists with the modeling software Hergos and produced the calculations notes and sizing note of the metallic joists.
    o Managed continuous improvement of the joists according to the architect choices.

    • Project: Construction of maintenance center of the airplane A400M
    • Project’s phases: execution
    Duties:
    o Designed assemblies and produced calculation notes of those assemblies for the primary and the secondary steel structure elements.
    o Sketched outline designs and use AutoCAD to create detailed design and specifications of these assemblies.

    2011 - 2011 • Projects: Construction of offices building, Hospital extension, Sport Center and Senior Residence.
    • Phases or stages: pre-project, execution, finishing touches (painting, carpentry…)
    Duties:
    o Managed, piloted, planned, controlled and organized construction sites by assisting my internship tutor.
    o Acted as a liaison between architects, the general contractors and different trade such as mason, electrician, and plumbing, casing team etc.
    o Obtained sub-contractor estimates and bids by sending architect’s plans to mason, electrician, and plumbing in the objective to hire them for a future collaboration.
    o Managed, daily, subcontractors' progress against plan throughout the project I worked on.
    o Designed equipments installation plans of some building construction site I worked on during my internship (tower crane, parking lot for site employee, path for concrete mixer and trucks delivering construction’s materials, bungalow etc)
    o Scheduled construction site visits of all jobs that are under construction and assisted the Project manager during site meeting.
    o Accurately provided status information on project progress at the end of the day to the project Manager (my internship tutor)
    o I was involved in estimation team for some projects.
