Mr. Raouf Znaidi has been involved for more than 25 years in an intensive research program on external insulation & Insulation coordination of HV systems operated under severe service conditions dominated by marine, desert and industrial pollution. He has also worked as independent Consultant in several countries in MENA Region( North Africa and Middle-East ) that have similar environmental conditions.
Since 1994, he has been an Official member of CIGRE Study Committee C4 & D1 as well as related Working Groups and Task Forces. He is contributing author of CIGRE Technical Brochures dealing with polluted insulators.(Source INMR.Array). Since 2010 he is INMR Contributor, International T & D Magazine, & he reports on main pertinent Power Utilities activities within building, Operating & maintenance of Overhead lines & Substation.
In Addition He has published more than 25 international Papers dealing with selection & Dimensioning of Insulators in Polluted Conditions.
