  • Veolia Water - Project Manager Asset Management (Australie)

Paris 2007 - 2010 Smart Asset Management Initiatives and IS related projects:
    • Smart Metering: project management, budget preparation and installation of 2000 smart meters (Actaris & Elster) on the behalf of SA Water (South Australian Public Water Authority).
    • Meter Replacement Program in Papakura, New Zealand: project management, budget management, meter sampling strategy via the GIS & the CIS (Customer Information System).
    • Pipe burst Prediction Model: Implementation in Adelaide of in-house software to prioritize the replacement of pipes and minimize the CAPEX/OPEX while respecting the high level of service criteria. Application of leak detection methods to prevent water losses.
    • ACAD (Asset Condition Assessment Database): tool assisting on prioritization of above ground assets in order to prepare the Capital Works Program. Also used for demonstrating overall contract compliance to SAW in terms of management of the assets.
    • Risk Assessment based on asset criticality & condition: development of datasheet and analysis of data in order to present synthetise the outcomes to SAW.
    • WWNDZA (Wastewater Network Drainage Zone Analysis): download of pump stations duties from the SCADA into a database in order to trend, analyse, target and present in the GIS on a daily basis the areas of concern such as infiltration or illegal trade waste dumping.

    Water Management Centre:
    • Platform that connects SCADA, Hydraulic modelling, Work Management System, Operational Data Store, Mobile Dispatch System, and others applications in order to improve the Operation & Maintenance efficiency, data collection, data quality and response time for Water and Wastewater networks.
  • Veolia Water - Ingénieur Informatique Asset Management (France)

    Paris 2004 - 2007 Water meter expertise:

    • Meter Replacement Program: tool aiming at replacing meters in order to increase global contract income and minimize water losses (impact on Non-Revenue Water):
∙ Annual and quarterly follow-up of meters operated in Veolia Water contracts in France.
∙ Installation of tools & training in Rabat, Morocco, set-up of the tool for electricity meters.

    • Project Manager for the Meters Database (integrated to the global data warehouse).
    Information Systems related projects:

    • SAERS (Decision-making that Assesses Health Risk) for littoral waters. Along with meteorological parameters and incidents occurring at the sewage treatment plant, such as overflows, it becomes possible to forecast a risk of potential contamination. This provides a predictive pattern of the bacteria’s growth, and the ability to highlight beaches that require closure to the public.

    • Network pipes management tool: calculation of pipes burst risks based on historical data; suggestion of replacement material based on geological environment and pipes intrinsic features.

    • Develop a prototype Website for investigating water taste and odour by consumers: Information system modelling, specifications write-ups, user interface sketch.
