Within Power Generation Product Engineering, provided performance and operability technical support from proposal to commercial operation for new unit heavy-duty gas turbines projects (E, F and H-class ranging from 40 to 500 MW) .
Gas Turbine Performances:
• Generated performance correction curves for technical proposals
• Produced customized technical studies during requisition phase (performance calculations for customer, specification of control settings, inputs for auxiliary design teams)
• Validated gas turbine aero-thermodynamic performances at factory test bed (full speed no load runs)
• Delivered internal technical training, coached and trained new employees and internal contractors
Gas Turbine Operability
• Analysed grid codes and customer specifications regarding active power and frequency control, islanding operation and provided clarifications for technical contract and in customer meetings
• Performed off-frequency performance study and defined optimum strategy to meet output requirement in under-frequency operation
• Followed-up simulations and on-site grid code testing (primary and secondary frequency response)
