I’m in charge of the elaboration, implementation and evaluation of the Ministry policy in the fields of the genetic crop improvement orientation and the rules for the marketing of seeds and propagating material.
I’m in charge to write legislative and technical regulation texts dealing with plant varieties official evaluation, seeds and propagating material production, certification and marketing rules, adventitious presence of transgenic varieties seeds in seed lots.
I participate to the evolution of the EU regulation through the participation in the Seeds and propagating material standing Committees of the EU Commission and the relating technical working groups. I have a particular implication in the current Better regulation process.
I organise stakeholders consultations at the national and the EU levels. I realise the synthesis of the consensual stances to formulate the institutional position.
I bring a scientific support to my sub-directorate in the field of biotechnologies.
I contribute to the definition of measures to accompany the spread of biotech crops in a view to best express their advantages and to limit the potential risks their spread is associated with.
I’m responsible for the scientific and the administrative management of a research fund aiming at granting private-public research projects in the field of crop improvement, varieties official evaluation and seeds and propagating material production. I’m supervising the work of an assistant.

I was in charge of the management of a research project in the field of plant molecular physiology. My work was aimed at the molecular and physiological characterisation of metal ions homeostasis in plants. These approaches are developed to produce bio engineered plants able to realise heavy metals phytoremediation and to propose essential micronutrients biofortified food.
I used several techniques such as reverse genetics, gene expression studies, cloning, plant transformation (transgenesis, mutagenesis), protein localisation by imaging and biochemical approaches and heterologous expression in yeasts and in Xenopus ovocytes systems.
My work enabled to further understand the role of the NRAMP metal transporters family in plant metal homeostasis and first brought evidences of their crucial role in manganese uptake, trafficking and targeting to the chloroplasts in which it is essential for photosynthesis.
I developed technical skills in the field of molecular genetic, biochemistry, plant molecular physiology.
I developed skills in the field of written and oral scientific communication through the publication of 2 scientific articles and through the presentation of my work in the frame of international congresses.
I also put these results in good use for training curses in a biotech engineering school.

I was in charge to teach agronomy and crop productions in a secondary technical school.
I realised pedagogic engineering to develop new teaching tools for the college.
I ensured the co-ordination of a sixth grade by ensuring the follow up of their technical trainings, their professional and scholar orientations.
