SCHIEDAM2015 - 2015With SBM Offshore Monaco, I have had the opportunity to work on the loading and balancing of the latest tanker insert (tanker conversion to FPSO with internal turret) performed in Monaco. This internship aims at studying the possible ways and available tools to load an FPSO fore part model involving an internal turret, and to balance it so that it complies with the ABS rules and regulations. The study is part of an effort to build a procedure allowing calculating the necessary reinforcement for the integration of an internal turret into a hull.
Several practical projects : Ship design loop (40 meters passenger ship), Design of a 92 m Jacket (GoM) with Abaqus/Cae, Design of a tanker midship section (Poseidon)
Courses covering many aspects of naval and offshore engineering: Naval structures, Oil production systems (FPSOs, subsea systems, Jacket, Spars, TLP), Problematics of Offshore engineering (focused on Jacket design and installation)
