Robin SCAIFE

After obtaining a PhD from the University of California and postdoctoral training at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in the USA, I was a research fellow for five years at the Institut de Biologie Structurale in Grenoble (France). Since then, I have been engaged for many years in academic and industry oncology research at the University of Western Australia.
For the past three years I have also been employed as a medical/scientific editor and translator (French to English). This has involved editing and translation of several hundred medical and scientific manuscripts (as well as promotional and administrative materials) for a diverse range of clients at private companies, research institutes, and government agencies to improve the readability, coherence, accuracy, grammar, and syntax of their publications.
