2015 - 2017As technical advisor, I attended 6 incidents in Spain, Venezuela, Indonesia (2), Mauritius and Greece and carried out several assessments of claims in relation to marine pollution incidents (P&I Clubs). In addition, as part of ITOPF's responsibility to promote effective response to marine pollution incidents, I have delivered a number of trainings, including IMO OPRC Model Courses in Gabon and Turkmenistan and participated in the drafting and update of numerous guidelines and manuals such as the IMO Manual on oil pollution Section II – Contingency Planning .
Abidjan Convention (UNEP)

2013 - 2014As assistant to the Executive Secretary of the Abidjan Convention, I was in charge of the coordination of the work programme of the Convention including the preparation and delivery of workshops, trainings and exercises in cooperation with governmental agencies (Gambia, Ivory Coast, South Africa and Sierra Leone). One of the main achievement of my mission was the successful preparation and delivery of the 11th Conference of the Parties to the Abidjan Convention that was held in Cape Town, South Africa, (17 – 21 March 2014).

2010 - 2013After following the industry reference 3-months offline training in oil spill response, I was seconded to the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues (IPIECA) for the coordination of the Global Initiative for West, Central and Southern Africa (GI WACAF Project), a partnership between the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the oil and gas industry (through IPIECA) to develop preparedness to marine oil spills of West African countries.

2008 - 2010After completing my postgraduate studies, I have been working at the Centre de la Mer de Biarritz in France, developing a number of projects dedicated to the strengthening of executive systems involved in coastal risk management. My duties include the development of strategic networks with key institutional bodies through the organization of training programs and the preparation of an International Congress on Coastal Risks.
