2003 - 2006 I was studying in the Jacquard group at LIFL (CS Research Lab of the University of Lille 1) under the supervision of Philippe Merle and Jean-Marc Geib. My PhD thesis was funded by the INRIA and the Nord Pas-de-Calais region. My teaching activities were related to Object-Oriented Programming and Distributed Computing for Masters students.

My PhD thesis addresses the definition of an extremely fine-grained approach to build highly adaptable middleware framework. In particular, I focus on the study of transaction services. In this context, I am in charge of the GoTM project, which aims to define a component-based framework to build highly adaptable transaction services. I am also involved in the OpenCCM and Fractal open-source projects supported by ObjectWeb.
