  • Societe Generale (SGCIB) London - Support leader for FI/FX electronic Trading Tools

    2008 - maintenant Acting in London as the main Electronic trading support contact between the business and development / IT infrastructure teams based in Paris

    • Providing business and technical assistance to SocGen’s Global Forex and Fixed Income sales and trading desks on a variety of issues involving FX and FI financial products

    Typical tasks include:

    • Morning checks and monitoring the production environment
    • Providing support for various in-house trading applications
    • Ensuring production related issues were resolved in a timely manor

    • Manage ECN’s (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.) and third party vendors such ION,GFI, Phoenix,ICAP on issues such new feeds, connectivity, allocations, and trade confirmations.

    • Working with the business and recommending solutions/workarounds for Front Office IT problems.

    • Writing reports and technical specification documents

    • Coordinate with developers and business on implementing new on-boarding initiatives.

  • Societe Generale (SGCIB) Paris - Front Office support on electronic market

    2006 - 2008 • Part of the Fixed Income application support team providing 1st and 2nd line support for the worldwide fixed income users.

    • Responsible for the EMS commodities project on support team side – architecture knowledge, in charge of all the new development bug releases, server releases, configurations, and maintaining production efficiency.

    • Leading the deployment project of an in house trading tool for the London , New-YORK and Sydney end users.

    • Trading Tools involve a high reactivity to the immediate problems therefore enable me to make sharp decisions in short notice of time to avoid catastrophic consequences.

    • Implemented new monitoring system

    • In charge of all issues on FI/FX main applications up to resolution, liaising with Paris development team on enhancement/bug fixes on a regular basis.

    • Support spreadsheet applications with an important amount of VBA

  • BNP PARIBAS - Business Analyst

    Paris 2005 - 2006 Role was based directly on the trade floor, providing support for Kondor and participating to the migration project (Kondor 2.0 => Kondor 2.6)

    Daily tasks included:

    • Providing support for various in-house trading applications

    • Acting as a key contact between the business and development / IT infrastructure teams.

    • Writing functional and technical specifications

    • Integrations of new product and new clients in the new Kondor version.
