2012 - maintenantReporting directly to the Offshore Installation Manager, at the Marine Terminal.
I am directly responsible to the OIM for day to day Health & Emergency Care and for IH, Safety and Logistics activities.
Working shift is a 12-hour day, but I am available at all times to deal with all medical issues occurring outside of this time frame.
Responsibilities:-
• Providing basic health care to all personnel stationed at the Marine Terminal, at ExxonMobil standards.
• Providing emergency medical management when required. Lead the medical team in event of drills and real emergencies.
• Championing Infectious Disease Outbreak Prevention and Management at the terminal
• Implementing drug and equipment management, including management of stock, inventories and maintenance.
• Maintaining logbooks and medical records as required for regulatory compliance.
• Implementing correctly all related programs, including BBP and AED
• Providing medical briefing to personnel, safety induction to visitors when necessary.
• Assisting the SHE Coordinator with life saving appliance and equipment inspections; performing inspections of accommodation areas, storage areas and food preparation areas; also conduct food quality inspections.
• Champion IH programs like HAZCOM, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation and Heat Stress.
• Assist the SHE Coordinator with company waste management policies, including inspections and reporting. This includes the preparation of the waste manifests and endorsement of disposal records.
• Also assist in daily safety statistics, conducting potable water bacteriological testing and monitoring of pest control activities.
