Young, dynamic and determined man with an interesting and original profile ; nine-year apprenticeship. I had my first experience in installation, maintenance and after-sale services on energy production systems (HVAC, Renewable Energies and Gas). Then I used my technical skill to develop commercial competences in the same field, where my previous experience gave me the opportunity to bring satisfaction through personalized energies solutions (Energies & associated services) mainly for public clients.

Finally, as I have always been attracted to big construction projects, I started to develop project management competences into water treatment business. This experience, besides the Project Management approach initiation as such, allowed me to take a major role in redefining internal execution process project (international impact), in technical standardization projects (with competitiveness as a main target) or directly at site, where I had the opportunity to be appointed as a Deputy Project Manager. This experience gave me the certainty that this job is made for me.

Therefore, from next October I will be committed on a large desalination plant construction project as Project Manager assistant team through a VIE contract in Bahrain then to Abu Dhabi - UAE. As this opportunity perfectly fits with my career path and professional ambition, I am not looking for professional opportunities anymore

    2012 - 2012 Kingdom of Bahrain - IWPP - International Water and Power Plant – Reverse Osmosis Plant
    Through this experience abroad, in Arabic Gulf, I had the opportunity to replace project managers during two months and, amongst others, take in charge the whole customer claims and warranties management. This role brought me to take part in technical issues resolution with the project team ; RO membranes, HP pumps, CO2 equipments, sampling lines, piping, SeaDAF, Analyzers,…

    This first "on the project's site" experience allowed me to put a practical sense on project manager's duties and to be convinced that these activities and responsibilities are in phase with the beginning of my career path, with my nature and with my ambitions.

    o Realized actions :

    - Collaboration with Degrémont supervisors from different fields (Electricity, Rotary equipments, Process, Instrumentation) for problems fixing.
    - Injunctions to implicated suppliers ; Participation in problem resolution according to the contractual clauses.

  • DEGREMONT SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT, Rueil-Malmaison - Project Management - Competitiveness Optimization

    2011 - 2013 Within the DB Office that I joined in October, 2011, I took part in internal projects; missions with competitiveness improvement as main objective and which consisted in restructuring by reorganizing the different job specialties, which are key elements for projects design, construction and water treatment plants start-up all over the world ; Project Management, Project Control, Procurement, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning.

    The missions which I took part in are as follows:

    1) Global internal execution processes rewriting: Project Management manual drafting – Procedural framework for worldwide Design and Build projects – 250 pages

    o Main objectives :

    - Coherence improvement between our internal Project Management tool and Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.
    - Facilitation of the use by adopting adapted granularity.
    - Make available a common basis of Project Management rules to all associates – Specific to Design and Build projects and globally applicable.
    - Global efficiency improvement on projects which Degrémont led worldwide by optimizing interfaces between the different job specialties and by revising the milestones validating the deliverables production.

    o Realized actions :

    - Flow charts writing – represent, through the different job specialties, the activities to be realized, the involved responsibilities, the deliverables list and the different procedures to be implemented.
    - Job procedures writing conferring a common rules basis to be observed during projects execution - Project Management / Project Control (Time / Cost / Risks / Scope) / Engineering / Procurement / Construction / Commissioning.
    - Milestone meetings road maps writing bringing regulation framework to be respected according to the different bottlenecks meetings.
    - Work groups formation, organization and coordination concerning the job procedures optimization project.
    - Experts documentary production time follow-up.

    2) Offers competitiveness optimization actions: Standardization / Sourcing / Benchmarks / Business Diagrams :

    Technical standardization & Offers competitiveness optimization :

    - Standardization of electric building design – Container (Hi-cube) without civil engineering / masonry.
    - Savings regarding the « Electrical building » function = 15%.

    - Civil engineering optimization on two process buildings (on an RO plant) : Sludge and
    Lime building – Volume reduction made possible by important equipment rearrangement.
    - Average savings regarding the functions of both buildings = 20%.

    - Standard « 50Km3 /d » RO Plant model design (Aveva PDMS 3D) – Includes the major part of the modifications and optimizations done on RO domain - SeaDAF, Sludge and Lime building, Civil-engineering savings on every process buildings.
    - Allows a 40% time reduction on projects based on this standard model.

    - Economic Intelligence – « RO Worldwide » Mapping – Inventory of RO Plants worldwide – Utilization of survey techniques and technical optimization levers detection by competitive analysis. (Main sources : Desaldata / Web / GoogleMaps / …)

    3) Other Assignments :

    o “International Project Managers Convention” Project – two days to federate around the Project Manager function :
    - Overall event organization in project mode: More than one-hundred Project Managers from all over the world, transportation, accommodations, subjects and speakers (internals/ externals) selection, agenda adjustments, workshops animation and schedule control.

    o Information newsletter and exchange forum intended to Project Managers community creation :
    - Inform the associates about the DB’Office assignments.
    - Create an original field experience channel – REX (Return on Experience)

    2010 - 2011 During this commercial experience, I took part in commercial offers production for customers coming from public and private sector. Moreover, my technical experience allowed me to promote products on which the company was specialized and well referenced ; Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Centralized Technical Management (CTM). Finally, my technical knowledge allowed me to have a role in the technical support in commercial department.

    - Maintenance and repair of energizing production systems for collective housing, industry and tertiary sector - HVAC, Solar energy (thermal / photovoltaic), Specific processes (Laboratories).
