  • SAINT HONORE SA - Brand Manager

    2005 - 2008 ° Sales & Marketing responsibility for the exclusive distribution in Colombia of the brands: Chanel, Bvlgari, Payot, and Ferrari; 4 Mio USD turnover. A&P budget of 0.5 Mio USD for promotions, brand imaging, events.

    ° Provided a distribution and marketing service to the top multinationals of the luxury industry. Successfully implemented their brand policy and got the best service levels and qualifications on their monitoring KPI (Bvlgari prize winning).

    ° Reporting team of 40 people which included brand promoters, merchandizing experts, and various marketing associates.
  • NESTLE - Head of Promotional Staff

    Marne La Vallée Cedex 2 2003 - 2005 ° Planned and executed demonstrations, product promotions, and tastings, devised in close collaboration with Marketing & Sales to support marketing campaigns of all types to impulse 15 brands, 300 different products, totalling sales of 300 Million USD p.a.

    ° Hired, trained, and managed a promotional team which included 14 regional supervisors and 400 to 900 promotional staff members. Extensive travel to visit 120 point of sales monthly, across Colombia.

    °Purchasing management responsibility for point of sales services and POS inventories management (5 million USD p.a budget). Responsible for negotiating prices and scope, monitoring achievement levels and managing the Vendor relation. Point of contact for other units claims regarding SLA / KPI variances.
  • WELLA - Head of Trade Marketing Supermarkets

    Darmstadt 2002 - 2003 ° Secured the implementation of marketing plans at locations of point of sales.

    ° Accountable for the turnover of Supermarket Channel resulting in annual sales of 18 Million USD.

    ° Created commercial strategies and marketing plans in cooperation with the Marketing and Sales teams.

    ° Directed a team that included one Head of Promotional Staff, three Regional Supervisors, and approximately 100 hair care Consultants.
  • GRUPO WISA - Retail Commercial Manager

    1993 - 2002 ° Sales responsibility: USD 22 Millions USD, with an AP budget of 3.6 Million for PR, Medias and fashion events.

    ° Reporting staff: 200 people, mostly store sales staff and supervisors. My duty included organizing the training of this sales force to ensure proper enforcement of the top brands image policies.

    ° Purchasing responsibility for selecting the product assortment, negotiating prices and margins.

    ° Negotiating 3d party contracts /SLA for services (logistics, POS material and activities, training). In charge of Vendors relation, KPIs monitoring and follow up on deviations.
