  The project aims at building a complete product for automatic toll collection which can be implemented in any country interested in such kind of solution. Atos and Siemens collaborate to achieve this goal. I am presently working for the business Intelligence module of the project
  
  My Responsibilities
  • Developed User Notification module which sends specific emails to the customers automatically based on the trigger received. The module was developed in Java Springs making use of the template feature of Velocity.
  • Study and Analysis of various open source and commercial Business Intelligence tools (both ETL and Reporting) available in the market and short listing the one best suitable for the project.
  • Study the business requirements and design a data warehouse for the project.
  • Lead the BI team for the project and train the team members in BI tools.

  Sainsbury’s is the number one retailer in United Kingdom with over 1000 s of retails stores across the country. They hold huge volumes of business data lying across heterogeneous systems and they wanted to integrate all these different systems to establish a real time supply chain and to give a new momentum to their business. I was a part of data migration team for the client Sainsbury’s working through Tata Consultancy Services, India.
  
  My Responsibilities
  • Developed Ab initio interfaces which extracts data from various data sources, performs business transformations and loads data into a centralized data storage.
  • Developed scripts which create huge volumes of test data for volume and performance testing of various interfaces.
  • Handled an additional responsibility by serving as the Knowledge Officer for a group of 200 members.
