    I am an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive 20 Years experience across all areas of Garment Manufacturing, marketing and sourcing raw materials. I am a seasoned campaigner of the textile industries environment. An exceptional leader who is able to develop and motivate others to achieve targets, I am able to demonstrate a strong ability to manage projects from conception through to successful completion. A proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, I perform effectively even within a highly pressurized working environment which leads to achieve the goal comprehensively. Therefore, I know the vendors in Bangladesh and their people to work with; my experience in these industries fostered me to interact with the audience efficiently how to run a factory or a sourcing/buying house.
    My experience entrusted with managing critical path, costing and price negotiations for the upcoming ranges. Liaise with overseas customers in Europe and America. Monitoring the production plan and identify imminent issues which can impact deliveries. Regularly visiting Customers and factories to build strong relationship, discuss capacity building strategies. Helping the factories to maintain compliance levels, follow up with team on different stages of production. Ability to anticipate potential loop holes in the supply chain and working directly with the technical team and merchandising team to resolve if there is any problems.     I have been looking after Product development, Yarn development, Production Co-ordinate and taking care of overall marketing of the factory locally and overseas. My jobs are entrusted with leading a merchandising team, responding customer’s daily inquiries. Major customers of this company are ACD Fashion, Celbes, Halens, from Sweden, Eurodif – France, Michael Gerald – USA, etc.

    TIME: (AUGUST 2007 TO SEPTEMBER 2012), POSITION – General Manager, COMPANY:-AMITAS CREATIONS INC., (READYMADE GARMENTS SOURCING AGENT) AT-UTTARA, DHAKA,
    It’s a Ready Made garment sourcing company in Bangladesh. This company has been acting as sourcing partner for the retailers like, PEACOCK, PRIMARK, ASDA (GEORGE), PENNEYS, EURODIF, AUCHAN, BRICE, PIMKIE, MIM, CARREFOUR, HOLLAND HOUSE Etc. and many more retailers over the years. My jobs were entrusted with meeting customers and vendors, presentation of new products, yarn and fabrics to the overseas customers by personal level of visiting in abroad or at home, leading a team of merchandisers and quality controllers, product development, Product Costing, Production Planning, Planning for in Line QC management, Samples Approval, New Yarn/Fabric sourcing, Final Inspection, Logistic Management.     I changed my previous company and joined in a Sweater Manufacturing company in the position of Executive Director. My job was entrusted with looking after, administration, Marketing, Commercial, Accounts, Production and Logistics, responsible for about 900 Personnel activities. I also served the purpose of daily communication with the overseas customers, local buying houses and suppliers. I used to report directly to the Managing Director. I have had hands on working experience with customers like, Metro, Best Seller, Zara, Bershka, Carrefour, Anvi Srl, etc.
    TIME: (November 2000-June 2006), POSITION: General Manager, COMPANY: OMEGA CLOTHINGS LTD., (GARMENT BUYING HOUSE ) AT- UTTARA, DHAKA,

    I moved from “Nascent Knitwears Ltd.” to this company to gain experience in the sourcing and buying of Ready Made Garments activities. I served in this company as General Manager. I was the team leader of 30 persons working for the company. My job was entrusted with looking after overall activities of merchandising team, commercial team, meeting with customers and vendors to negotiate price, product development and supply chain management. I was responsible to monitor total supply chain management from sourcing raw material, product development, production planning up to delivery. I gathered immense experience working with the customers like ZARA, BERSHKA, METRO, WALMART, Carrefour, Jean Pascal, Pimkie, Anvi Srl etc. through personal level of communication, sometimes visiting them personally.
    TIME: (July, 1999- October, 2000), POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER, COMPANY: NASCENT KNITWEARS LTD. (SWEATER MANUFACTURER), RUPNAGAR, MIRPUR, DHAKA,

    I changed my previous company and joined in a Knitwear Manufacturing company in the position of General Manager. This company was born through my close and direct supervision; from the inception procuring machineries and erection, doing all the necessary documentation from Government Services to start a business. My job was entrusted with looking after Marketing, Commercial, Accounts, Production and Logistics departments, responsible for 800 Personnel activities. I used to report directly to the Managing Director. Turnover of this company were stood at USD 4.50 Million when I left. Working experience with the customers like Walmart, Safico-2, Dr. Rehfeld, Carrefour, Pimkie, Brice, Mim, etc. I attended several textile fairs in Koln, Germany and Paris, France during working in this company.
    TIME: (July 1998 – June 1999), Position: Merchandising Manager, Company: Metimex S.A, (French Garment Sourcing Company), Banani, Dhaka.
    I joined this company after changing my employer Dragon Group, in the position of MERCHANDISING MANAGER. My duties were entrusted with sourcing finest possible factories, product development including yarn and fabric sourcing, product costing, supply chain management, inline inspection, final inspection, logistic support, full co-ordination with French counterpart and factories. This company imported ready made garments from Bangladesh about USD 50 Million a year.
    TIME: (July 1993 – June 1998), Position: Merchandising Manager, Company: Dragon Sweater Bangladesh Ltd. (One of the largest Sweater Manufacturing Company in Bangladesh as well as in the South East Asia region), Malibagh Chowdhury Para, Dhaka.
    I have started my textile career through this company as Assistant Manager, Marketing and Commercial department in the year of 1993. I learned what is Sweater, how it produced, how to cost, how to procure yarn etc. I worked with US and European customers directly through personal level of communication. We worked with renowned retailers like Gap, Walmart, Skiva, NKD, Zara, Bershka, Auchan etc, I promoted to manager when I left the company in the year of 1998.
