BSS OPS Work Description:

Execute the RF work orders using Win-Fiol & OSS CNA (RF parameters change) ERICSSON 2G BTS Integration and Parameter change (RBS 2106, 2206 , 2116 ,6000).

Creating & developing OPS/MML scripts for Scan, Clean Up, Dump, Backup, routine problems under Ericsson OSS platform as well as WinFiol (Windows OSS).

Creating & developing the Monitoring &Troubleshooting Supervision NMC /NOC Procedures (Filters for Netact NOKIA Flexi BSC, OSS ERICSSON, and RC SIEMENS.)

First maintenance and troubleshooting of Flexi BSC NOKIA using the MML with HIT interface

BSC Upgrade (APZ 212 33-IPA19/24,R8B,APG40-AGM17,18&19,APG43 AGM317),software implementations running on Windows Server 2003 for BSC,MSC,HLR,AUC,FNR.
BSC Hardware expansion .
Defining, testing, & configuration of BSC, BTS nodes under the same platform (1st line of support).
Ericsson OSS-RC Siemens filter (Operation & Maintenance).
Ensure trouble-ticket handling (TT&CR), work-order handling, alarm handling, daily/weekly/monthly routines handling, problem follow up,
Setting up and applying all types of procedures required for different O&M tasks implemented to different network elements.
ERICSSON CSR handling.
A member of the NPC&NQI (Network Performance committee R.F, transmission, BSS).

BSS Work Description:
Monitor,analyze and solve&escalation problems reported by the systems (ERICSSON&SIENMENS/NSN).
DB Network Reporting.
Work with field Technicians with a work order, when physical intervention in the Access. Network equipment is needed to solve the problems.
Escalate difficult problems to the Support Engineers.
3G BSS Front Office Surveillance, knowledge of 3G ERICSSON networks and UTRAN nodes(Node-B & RNC- ALGERIA Project Test),Handling, Report.
Acquired Knowledge:
Strong command (BSS) of Ericsson OSS-RC 1.1 features; ALV, ALB, ASM, GNIP (Alarms Configuration) & CHA, CNA, BSM, CNAM, OPS, EMAM, CLS, SMO (Configuration Management).
Full understanding of AXE 810 architecture.
Managing RC (Radio Commander&Netact) for OSS SIEMENS&NOKIA Flexi /BSS side.
Understanding of Ericsson OSS network architecture & Radio Commander (RC) as well.
Good knowledge in GSM architecture, applied techniques (TDMA, FDMA, interfaces) & IP addressing.
Good theoretical knowledge of RBS, BSC, APG40, GPRS courses.
Good experience in Civil Works Ericsson radio rollout (indoor-outdoor 2206, 2106).
Performing& managing acceptance for new sites by using OSS and WIN FIOL ERICSSON.
Working under Sun Solaris OSS (Commercial Unix version of Sun Microsystems), running on Sun fire 4800 servers (for Ericsson OSS & SIEMENS OSS-RC, BSS O&M side).
Best manipulation & practical use of ALEX (Ericsson) as well as OBR7.0 (Siemens).
Using tools like: FileZilla, Pc Anywhere

March 2002-March 2005: COCA-COLA International Company- Algeria (Operation & Maintenance PABX, ALCATEL& base station (BTS) DECT System).

Work Done:
Installing and Testing of PABX systems (type: ALCATEL, SIEMENS&PANASSONIC).
Testing and commissioning of control schemes
Data base validation by locally peer to peer tests in substations & remotely from dispatching centers via radio communication (Principle gateway) & leased line (Emergency gateway).
