    2015 - 2016 Context:

According to customer technical specifications and associated 3D models Manufacture of sheet metal works and sub-assemblies are the heart of Detampel’s expertise.
Present in the Aerospace Industry, National Defense, Automotive and Industry, Detampel acquired all the qualifications required by the largest contractors in the European and North American aviation industry.
Manufacturing of tools, laser cutting, digital bending, deep drawing, forming, TIG welding, precision sheet metal work, DETAMPEL produces basic parts and sub-assemblies that can be directly integrated into the structures and systems implemented by our customers (i.e. helicopters nozzles, heat exchangers, fuel tank, basket refueling, engine cooling 908 Le Mans …)
In order to satisfy an increased requests from customers, Detampel diversifies and expands its product range by developing specific equipment such as heat treatment, deep drawing, titanium welding under argon and prototype development.
Controlling the design, manufacture, assembly, technical support, and the expertise and qualifications, but also due to the flow control and production costs, Detampel offers a comprehensive solution of supporting all of the customer needs.

    Scope of work:

    - Response to a call for proposals (Main customers: DASSAULT, LIEBHERR AEROSPACE, AIRBUS HELICOPTERE, Pratt and Whitney Canada)
    - Expertise with technical documents (Drawings, Bill of materials, Specification: Notion with EN 9100) in aeronautical sector
    - Analyse and conception of mechanically-welded assembly (Exhaust pipe for helicopters, Heat exchangers, Fuel tank, Structural parts Falcon F5X…)
    - Tooling conception (pressing, cutting, assembly, welding tools) with cad software CATIA V5 (Regular use of the solid and surface modules)
    - Creation of manufacturing process – Using of CLIPPER (Enterprise resource planning)
    - Production monitoring
    - Reporting and project monitoring

    Results:

My experience at DETAMPEL NIMROD Group enables me to improve my knowledge in conception, realization and industrialisation of aeronautic parts. Indeed, I was able to realised tools with CATIA V5, to take care of industrialisation of complex aeronautic parts using aeronautical specification which were required, to make a customer reporting regularly, to choose best suppliers and to be the technical support for the production.
  • CEA-Grenoble (France) - Research Engineer in Materials and Bonding

PARIS 2014 - 2014 A unique combination of technological infrastructure and expertise in R&D for R&D to meet the demands of the energy transition.
Liten is a major European research institute and a driving force behind the development of the sustainable energy technologies of the future. The institute is spearheading the EU's efforts to limit dependency on fossil fuels and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in three key areas : renewable energy, energy efficiency/storage and development of materials.
CEA-Liten, part of CEA-Tech, France’s leading R&D organization, is playing a leading role in the development of cutting-edge technology intended to generate and store, clean sustainable energy via a business model that covers two key areas of innovation: battery and hydrogen fuel cell development.
The research carried out by the institute is unique in Europe, in that it covers every level of the technological value chain, from the development of advanced materials through to pre-industrialization. CEA-Liten is able to exploit significant human and technological resources that include 250 researchers, a 300 strong IP portfolio, 20 years of experience and three industry-standard pilot plants for the battery/fuel cell segment alone. The institute is also able to leverage the wealth of experience of its research “twin”, CEA-Leti, in order to develop state-of-the-art Battery management systems, further strengthening our already comprehensive technological offering.

    Scope of work:

    - Monitoring project
    - Reporting
    - Mechanical trials
    - Bonding diffusion trials
    - Use of Infinite Focus microscope (Characterization of materials)
    - Understanding of an innovating process of assembly (Bonding diffusion)
    - Analytical modelling (Use of mathematical and mechanical laws)
    - Numerical modelling (Calculation software: ABAQUS, SOLIDWORKS)

  • FIVES Cinetic Service - Method maintenance engineer for FIVES Group on the aeronautical site AIRCELLE

    Montévrain 2012 - 2013 Context:

    FIVES Group:

As an industrial engineering Group, Fives designs and supplies machines, process equipment and production lines for the world’s largest industrials including the aluminium, steel, glass, automotive, aerospace , logistics, cement, energy and sugar sectors.
Located in over 30 countries and with nearly 8,000 employees, Fives is known for its technological expertise and competence in executing international projects.
Fives’ multi-sector expertise gives it a global vision of the industry which provides a continuous source of innovation. SAFRAN AIRCELLE Group:

Aircelle is one of the two main integrators of aircraft engine nacelle systems in the world. With more than 17,000 engine assemblies in service, Aircelle proposes a range of nacelle systems to suit each type of aircraft: regional jets, business jets and commercial aircraft of more than 100 seats for medium- and long-range travel.
The nacelle is the essential complement to the engine with which it constitutes the aircraft's propulsion system. It holds the engine, optimizes the air flows through the engine and protects the engine from any aggression. It is a high-tech complex system, integrating the thrust reverser, which manages several basic functions such as noise abatement, deicing and the management of internal and external temperature differences, protection from fire and lightning, taking up loads between the engine and the pylon which connects it to the wing, braking (with the thrust reverser) and even the aesthetic appearance of the aircraft, in a harsh environment with numerous constraints.

    Scope of work:

    - Planning of the annual preventive schedule
    - Improvement and optimization of maintenance procedure
    - Creation of method 5S in order to improve the management of equipment in the plant (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
    - Analyse of technical documents (Drawings, Bills of materials)
    - Reporting and project monitoring
    - Relation with the customer and suppliers
    - Integration of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) tool (CARL MASTER)
