  • Roquette Freres - 6-month internship as assistant engineer in confectionery formulation and compression

Technique | Lestrem (62136) 2020 - 2020 ROQUETTE a global leader in plant-based ingredients, a pioneer of plant proteins and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients. The CTS is an application research center that offers solutions based on ROQUETTE ingredients.
    - Carried out a market study and a nutritional analysis of the tablets and snacking products
    - Studied the calculation of nutriscore and gave training on nutriscore to CTS teams
    - Developed 2 snacking prototypes by compression
    - Characterized the prototypes by sensory and physicochemical analysis (texture)
    - Trained on the compression simulator (Styl'One Nano)
    - Carried out and interpreted compression profiles of different ingredients
  • Olygose - 6-month internship as assistant Quality and Safety Engineer in Food industry

Autre | VENETTE 2018 - 2018 OLYGOSE provides the extraction and purification of oligosaccharides derived from a by-product of refining a plant material and having the status of dietary fiber.
    - Updated the single document and implemented the action plan (renewal of pictograms, procedures and skid for unloading chemicals) and brought procedures and records up to standard
    - Reviewed HACCP documents with a view to ISO 22000 certification
    - Performed internal audits (laboratory, production, maintenance)
    - Drafted a procedure and set up of a regulatory watch
  • Centre Hospitalier Universitaire - 1-month internship in research in Department of Pathological Anatomy and Cytology

Technique | Amiens (80000) 2015 - 2015 Study of coefficient of proliferation Ki67 in breast cancer in women aged 85 and older
The aging population increasing, breast cancer incidence increases with age, peaking at age 80 [4]. 11% of all breast cancer patients were aged 80 and older [5]. They are often excluded and represented a negligible minority in studies [4]. There is no consensus on how to treat elderly breast cancer [5]. They were often undertreated [6], standard treatments causing more complications in elderly patients [6]. Comorbidities complicated the management of cancer treatment [7].
Assess a marker of proliferation Ki67 in breast cancer in women aged 85 and older to test the hypothesis that breast cancer progress more slowly in elderly women
Retrospective study of set of breast cancers case in women aged 85 and older, extracts from archives of pathology service of CHU of Amiens, from 2012 to 2015. Immunohistochemical marking on Benchmark instrument.
Average of age of 87 years old, [85-96]. Samples are distributed: 30 microbiopsies, 19 exeresis, 2 macrobiopsies and 2 multiple biopsies. 40 (77%) cancers are ductal carcinoma, 7 (13%) lobular carcinoma, 5 (9%) others histological types. Concerning SBR grade, 34 tumors are grade 2, 15 grade 1 and 3 grade 3. Breast cancer express on average 83,66% estrogen receptor, 22,70% progesterone receptor and antigen Ki67 14,77%. HER2 0, 1+, 2+, 3+ are respectively of 17, 24, 4 and 7 tumors.
According to the literature, 83% of tumors are estrogen receptor positive, 8% overexpress HER2 [4]. Our results are consistent. These cancers are mainly ductal carcinoma high expressing hormone receptor and have a low coefficient of proliferation.
  • Laboratoire de Physiologie Cellulaire et Moléculairz - 1-month internship in research in Laboratory of cellular physiology and molecular biology

Technique | Amiens 2014 - 2014 The Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Physiology (LPCM) aims to study the involvement of ion channels in tumor development and more specifically, the role of calcium channels in resistance to chemotherapy.
This internship allowed me to discover the world of research, its funding, and to familiarize myself with the techniques of Western Blot, ELISA, PCR and qPCR, Calcium imaging, Flow cytometry, Patch-clamp.
This allowed me to see the complexity of this profession, the real passion shown by researchers, the close cooperation between people, the need for precise fundamental knowledge, but also technical, as well as a strong will.
