  Development

  * Building UI Prototypes for different types of web apps/sites (corporate websites, administration wizards, blogs, widgets)
  - The prototypes are built following the TopCoder's process (more on the process here: http://www.topcoder.com/wiki/display/tc/UI+Prototype+Competitions)
  - XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP are the main technologies used.
  - The prototype goes through a detailed review process where your work gets reviewed and scored against a scorecard (Scorecard: https://software.topcoder.com/review/actions/ViewScorecard.do?method=viewScorecard&scid=30000491)
  
  Project management
  ------------------------------
  Key tasks as a Community Platform Manager are:
  - Creation of contest specs and management of spec reviews.
  - Setup and launch contests
  - Monitor/Manage contests as they are in progress, including questions in the forums, issuing VM's, etc.
  - Testing the final submissions
  - Merging the final submission into the main application branch and validating that the code works on a VM.
  - Working with the customer team to meet deployment schedules
