• Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager of the Innovation segment
• Lead regional, application specific field marketing development efforts for PVOH Growth Program. Responsible for revenue and variable margin growth within the focal application areas and market segment
• Functional management of a multi competence, multi cultural team (sales engineers, PhD) to translate opportunities in Europe
• Major involvement in Stage Gate projects using "Design For Siw Sigma" tools such as SWOT analyses, Market FMEA, Value Chain, VOC interviews, Business Plan

• Reinforced Celanese position as market leader and preferred supplier of high performance and environmentally friendly solutions for decorative paints
• Implemented agressive marketing communication to support VAE positioning and transition to solvent free system
• Increased sales by 45% per year achieving a market share similar to conventional polymers
• Implemented price increases by using value selling tools such as Performance Enhancement Programmes (PEP) including pricing water fall and account packs
• Focused on higher margin rather than high volume products
