Hello! My name is Suzanne Davoust. I am an American who has lived and worked in France for 14 years.
I was an Artist in Education in the states for 12 years in the domain of Dance with various populations, including people with disabilities. I love bringing dance to everyone, making it accessible.
In the states, I belonged to an International Folk Dance Troupe. Since living in France, I have worked as a translator, English teacher for all ages, and a dance teacher. I have led folk dance groups, given workshops in various dance forms, including medieval.
I have written and am producing a CD for teaching English to children which includes 29 original songs and 8 traditional tunes. I love to write, dance and sing. And I find translation - finding the right words so as to rest true to the meaning at the heart of the message - a wonderful challenge!
