GILLY SUR ISÈRE
I am a multi-skilled mechanical engineer with dual manufacturing and business competency.
I graduated with a MS in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Boilermaking and Industrial Structures. The course studies at POLYTECH Montpellier offered me a strong background in the fields of Metallurgy, Welding and Tubular Structural Engineering. Prior to being hired by PROTEM, I worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for the European leader of aerospace structural parts, FIGEAC AERO. I had the opportunity there to develop machining and metal forming processes to improve existing manufacturing methods.
As a business development and field services Engineer for the US subsidiary of PROTEM, I was tasked with advising customers, performing machine demonstrations, organizing trade fairs, installing equipment at the customer’s location and training their operators. Due to my experience, I was able to quickly and precisely understand the concerns of customers all over the world, allowing them to increase their efficiency and operational quality.
I am now managing the machining and the assembly department of SACMI, the manufacturing subsidiary of the POMA group.
