    2004 - maintenant Project Director / COO on a 1 year project re-structuring the entire operations of a French based global packaging business: closure of 6 depots, a Paris based H.Q., transfer of entire streamlined business onto the southern based factory including the upgrading of all processes governing the business. Accompanied new M.D. until end April.

    European S&OP role-out, inclusive of development and delivery of training, for world-wide Healthcare company together with LCP Consulting. (short-listed for MCA awards 2008)

    Project Management of a Strategic Computer Optimisation Modelling (London) tool and its required data gathering together with LCP Consulting for a new joint venture company trading 1/5 of the European sugar market. The aim was to maximise the overall margin as the business dynamics within Europe change by evaluating the different logistics options between Producers and Consumers.

    Supporting the French business directors of two merged clearing houses (French, English) in their implementation of the new organisation and the subsequent impact on them and their employees.

    Business audit and subsequent roll out of a 2m€ improvement project for a French call centre and engineering service operation covering all major French banks and postal services (LCP Consulting)

    RFID Implementation Major German Retailer: programme manager of a large radio frequency identification project, with (Kurt Salmon), inclusive of the integration of 30 plus suppliers and the calculation of the Business Case for roll-out in April 2006.

    Supply Chain Review Richemont – IWC – Switzerland: in conjunction with Kurt Salmon led a review of the Supply Chain, its weaknesses and corrective action such as : portfolio review, product lifecycle management, forecasting, S&OP implementation, stock definition & adjustment, supplier management with a recommendation to launch a full Value Stream / Continuous Improvement project with suppliers and internally to reduce lead times and cost.

    Business Review Air Liquide – DMC – France: As part of a new ERP implementation DMC needed to restructure what it sold, how it sold it and how the products are managed through the factory. The review and its implementation covered all areas from sales through to distribution.
  • Les Lutins Gourmands - Owner

    2003 - 2004 Launching of own business wishing to teach children how to cook. Target audience were schools, hospitals, activity centres, commercial centres & airports. Targeted age was 5 – 12 years.

    Achievements included accepted detailed business plan (over 5 years) by French authorities (banks, department of commerce etc), deposition of a brand, marketing, detailed research into the cold chain & respect for hygiene & receipt of orders (1000 plus by two bi-lingual private schools).

    2001 - 2003 In charge of the closure of the French subsidiary once decided by the Group.

    Four week diagnostic plus 5 month implementation to recover the loss of €500,000 / month in the German subsidiary of a world-wide Packaging Company(2002/2003)

    Bois-Colombes Cedex 2000 - 2001 Diagnostic and implementation of recommendations in a French and UK electronics division to re-instate the required service levels following heavy redundancies (2000/2001)

    1989 - 1996 3 year development and implementation of people, processes and procedures for a new focussed oral care factory serving 16 markets. The scope included “ From the Creation of Demand to the Delivery of Product in Market” (1993 – 1996).

    Co-managed the introduction of a cost effective cross divisional European distribution strategy (1994)

    Lead the commercial / logistics team on the closure programme of the first Beecham factory in St Helens and subsequent outsourcing of the production (1993/1994)

    Supervised the successful implementation of a three site MRPII project in Germany (1991/1992)
    Facilitator and coach to ten European Directors in the role out of the company wide TQM project.

    Simplification of the processes & procedures in the German finance department: significant reduction of the hours worked and recommendation for all finance directors to follow a similar approach (1992)

    Review and implementation of the Supply chain in France which lead to the first appointment of a Sales & Operation planning director and the introduction of a formalised forecasting , planning and S&OP process.
    Based on the success of this project the same was carried out in the UK & Germany (1989 – 1991)
