Trieau JEAN PIERRE

Jean Pierre TRIEAU spent the first part of his career working for the private sector in bank, energy and software industries. First as S/W project manager, he then moved on to sales and management activities for services and solutions.

The second part of his career is built in the public sector joining the Regional ICT Agency, depending on the Regional Council of Aquitaine. He created and managed the Projects department and represented AEC involvement in the IST European Projects. He has participated at more than 25 R&D IST projects. He has developed a European expertise consulting practice on the technical, socioeconomic and legal aspects of policies, projects and transactions enabled by the R&D projects.

He has mainly focused his activity in the main domains thereafter :

• E-health : he participated or led several projects dealing with Electronic Patient Record , emergency, stroke rehabilitation, decision support systems, decision system for diagnosis and treatment
• E-Government: he participated as well at various projects dealing with e-administration inter-operability Information Systems in the Social Insertion domain, electronic voting, e-procurement, national ID card. He drawing up strategies and managed the deployment of various portals such as “front-end e-assistance for social workers” or “Innovative knowledge management system for Public Administrations ‘employees” for county councils
• Expertise in sustainable development projects, realizing director plans for Countries and Sets of Communities : territorial diagnosis and SWOT analysis, defining the main lines of development, elaborating technical architecture, defining accompanying measures, working out investments and running costs, assistance for leverage extra funding.

Today, he is sales manager for Alienor.net, a major Aquitaine web Agency, in charge of developing the activities in the public sector with a mix products approach: web development, hosting and security services and territorial marketing.

He also runs a consultancy practice notably as :
• Trainer and consultant for public authorities, associations and training centers,
• Privacy officer.
