(the investment proposition was submitted to a finance holding in Europe and resulted in a joint-venture by the end of 1994 with a French-Australian company, LA SOURCE (BRGM - NORMANDIE POSSEIDON).
- as GM, I realized an important restructuring project within 6 months
(the “restructuring” was necessary as well on operational, economical as on HR & social issues - large burden of debts, unpaid wages, overstaffing, lack of motivation, negotiations with the trade unions, … - and since the joint venture with LA SOURCE was finalized … a “healthy” working environment was highly necessary in view of getting the expected investments a.s.a.p. in place, up and running)
