  • Alcatel-Lucent - Sénégal - Account Director

    2010 - maintenant Mission:
    Director of the Sonatel account (Orange Group) over Sénégal, Mali, Bissau and Conakry, I manage and develop a multi-country account with regards to sales, operations and associated P&L (>40M Euros turnover)
    I elaborate the Account Plan in order to support my Customer development while overcoming my company objectives on various segments (wireless, wireline, optics, applications and services)
    I Drive a team, of ~15 pax (tendering, commercial and operation) in a matrix organisation
    I develop key relationship and partnership with my Customers and represent Alcatel-Lucent at CxO level

    Realisation:
    Overachieve yearly the company objectives (by 20 to 40% per year) by diversifying and settling our presence within the customer environment. Few exemples:
    - Enter in outtasking and site construction in Mali
    - Won the HLR swap in Conakry
    - Secured the 2G network refresh in Sénégal and Mali
  • Alactel-Lucent - Slovakia - Key Account Manager

    2007 - 2010 Mission:
    Re-establish Alcatel-Lucent credibility towards Orange Slovensko
    Responsible for Orange Slovensko, T-Mobile and Telefonica O2 accounts with regards to sales, operations and associated P&L
    Develop and implement business strategy on Access, Transmission, Core, VAS, Services
    Represent Alcatel-Lucent towards Customers at CxO level
    Lead Alcatel-Lucent commercial and operational teams

    Realisations:
    I managed to change a conflictual relationship between Alcatel-Lucent and Orange SK into a trusted partnership.
    I doubled accounts business results in 2007 (23M Euros orders and sales), overachieved by 40% orders/sales objectives in 2010 (14,5M Euros orders and sales) and improved margins by 20%)
    I changed a legacy declining business (Core and IN) in Orange SK into a long term stable business with volumes (Won the 2G network swap+3G+LTE trial, 20MEuros) ensuring a bottom line at 20M Euros from 2012 onwards
    Entered T-Mobile SK account (IP deal)
  • Alcatel-Lucent - The Netherlands - General Program Manager

    2004 - 2007 Mission
    Lead multi-technology programs (IN/VAS, Core and Access network including transmission)
    Overall responsibility for P&L, people management, customer satisfaction
    Ensure project realizations and operation activities are performed on time, on a cost efficient manner and on required quality level towards the customer
    Prime interface towards customer’s senior management (COO, CTO)
    Support the Key Account Manager in promoting new offers

    Realisation
    Drove 40MEuros/year projects implementation according to quality standard in driving project, cost/sales and risks review (1200 3G sites, CNCS, Micro Waves, IN,...)
    Actively contributed to answer outsourcing tender for the 2 countries (build and operate part)
  • TA Orange - Thaïlande - Head of Engineering department

    2002 - 2004 Mission:
    Overall responsibility for the access engineering of the network (radio, network architecture, system and performance)
    Team management (30 people) and vendor management
    Set up, optimise tools and processes with internal/external actors (marketing, operations, rollout, core network, vendors…)
    Propose, defend the network master plan and associated project plan towards the management
    Ensure the transfer knowledge from the consultants to local people
    Optimise the resource plan

    Realisation:
    Successful take over of engineering, design and performance management from the vendors
    Reduction of the headcount by 2 (60 to 30) by improving processes and team effectiveness
    Set up the network performance dash board for the company
    Successful training and transfer knowledge to local teams

  • Orange - La Réunion - Head of Engineering and deployment department

    2000 - 2002 Mission:
    Set up an engineering and rollout team to commercialy launch a mobile network operator from scratch in 6 months
    Develop for the department processes towards internal/external customers
    Drive an annual CAPEX > 20 M Euros for the department

    Realisation:
    Successful management of the access network design and rollout in terms of quality and timing with a team of 35 people (100 sites on air in 6 months, according to plan budget and quality performances)
    Successful training and transfer knowledge to local teams
    Successful migration to the target organisation of the department (10 local people)
  • Dutchtone - The Netherlands - Head of Access Engineering department

    1998 - 2000 Setting-up and management of local technical teams (40 people) in radio design, BSS architecture, transmission and optimisation
