    - Assesses risks in the general set-up of the particular distribution strategy for a clinical trial. Actively contributes to the optimization of the general supply chain planning for development projects.
    - Generates and optimizes distribution plans for investigational medicinal products through strategic balancing of supply vs. distribution costs
    - Reviews actual enrollment and inventory data. Updates the distribution plan based on actual recruitment/demand for ongoing studies. Suggests initial logistic load & optimal shipping and resupply parameters in IRT, Reviews and updates IRT supply parameter dynamically over study lifetime
    - Proactive communication and updates to Trial Managers and Supply Chain Managers on actual recruitment vs. allowed variability from planned recruitment based on supply planning; supports discussions of scenarios and adaptations to supply planning with DSM Trial Manager and Supply Chain Manager
    - Triggers shipments of clinical trial supplies from central depot to regional hubs and local depots in IRT
    - Tracks shipment and release status and follows-up with distribution vendors and local hub/depot contacts. Defines optimal shipping lot size per hub/depot considering distribution costs vs. material cost, overage and shipping lead times
    - Monitoring of Health Indicators for the distribution chain of the assigned projects.
