• Assisted the project manager on a strategic supply chain initiative (VMI: Vendor Managed Inventory) with the largest German customer (Mediamarkt-Saturn), working in good intelligence with other departments: sales, marketing, controlling, IS. Transformation and creation of transversal processes matching Sony's environment and new customer's requests.
• Acted as referent analyst on customers' stock & sales data (POS data) and set up several tools: sales forecasting, optimal stock level recommendation, financial and operational reporting.
• In-depth study of sales behavior when replacing a product by its successor. Recommendation of inventory strategies maximizing service level and minimizing inventory risk (obsolescence, cost & price drops).
• Builds a complex tool analyzing past sell-out data received from stores to derive a set of optimal stock levels (for all stores & products) covering future demand (forecasted) and matching Sony's sales & marketing strategies.
