I operate as an independent communications and research consultant for clients in the non-profit, academic, and business communities. I have significant experience producing public relations materials for advocacy organizations such as the AFL-CIO and the Human Rights Campaign, as well as a new labor policy initiative at Georgetown. As a research consultant, I have developed policy analyses about issues such as renewable and nuclear energy.
My firm spearheaded a strategic communications plan to enact the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act) which became America's first open data law in May 2014. We were also brought on by the DC Cannabis Campaign to help navigate the media firestorm that accompanied the end of prohibition in the District of Columbia.
I graduated with honors from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 2008. As an undergraduate, I studied abroad in Senegal at the Universite Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. I also earned a Certificate in International Development and was certified as proficient in French.
