Zouhair LAAMIRI

15 years international experience in system analysis and IT architecture. Strong ability to design, implement and maintain IBM complex solutions needed to solve customers’ business problems ; experience developed mainly across IBM Power System, IBM xSeries and BladeCenter, IBM Storage and backup Solutions.

In 1996, Zouhair began as an IBM SP2 system administrator for StandardLife Canada where he was appointed in several IBM pSeries projects. In collaboration with Comdisco (NJ, USA), he implemented the DR solution and processes for SLAC.

In 1998, Zouhair joined Bombardier Aerospace Canada as a Technical Architect. He focused on system deployment, Installation, maintenance, support and services for the CATIA platform. Zouhair provided the main business requirements for the future BA infrastructures' directions. He was the focal link with IBM.

In 2000, Zouhair joined IBM Canada as a senior pSeries/AIX Software Specialist. Zouhair was a key player for IBM pSeries support and services Team in Montreal. Zouhair was involved in systems architecture, HACMP clusters and storage design and implementation. He looked after customers and provided technical assistance and advices.

As a member of the ITS Software Support and Services group at GBM Dubai, Zouhair taught IBM HACMP and AIX courses in the Gulf region. His experience covers solution design, support and services for the pSeries products to GCC countries (Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, U.A.E, Bahrain and Yemen).

Currently, Zouhair focuses on consolidation & Virtualisation projects at Dell.
