    2012 - maintenant Union des Français de l’Etranger (UFE) is a worldwide organisation, recognised by the French Government with the aim to protect the interests of French citizens living abroad. The Association welcomes and organises social events to help the French community settle in Hong Kong (the community is estimated at 17,000 people). It also helps promote French culture and language.

    Responsibilities:
    - participation at consular meetings to discuss scholarships, charitable actions and security
    - identification of problems and issues faced by the French community in Hong Kong and
    implementation of solutions to help (unemployment/entrepreneurs/visa acquisition)
    - organization of conferences/networking activities/sporting/cultural and fund raising events
    - recruitment and management of voluntary helpers sitting on the administrative committee (13 people)
    - organization of fund raising events (TELETHON/FONDS ASSOCIATIF DE SOLIDARITE)
    - set up of communication campaigns (social networks/newsletters/website and PR)
    - supervision of all departments within the Association (book-keeping/membership for individuals and companies/administration and marketing/IT/conferences and events)

    2006 - 2007 Macau.com Limited is an on-line travel company which specialises in Macau inbound business. Its tag line is "Your window to the New Macau", with the aim of opening customers' eyes to the new leisure environment that Macau is now offering. The opening of the Cotai strip with its large resort/casino hotels has changed the demographics of tourists staying in Macau. Macau.com helped promote this new beginning by offering static and dynamic information content in 6 languages with a booking engine to enable customers to book their travel arrangements online

    Responsibilities:
    • start up environment
    • planning and management of all divisions within the Company (administration/sales and marketing/ product development/operations/reservations/hotel negotiations/call centre/finance and IT)
    • development of the Company’s visual identity (logo creation)
    • website design comprising the addition of a reservation system (GDS) and a payment gateway (IPS)

    OctopusTravel.com is an innovative on-line travel company with offices around the world and offering discounted hotels, apartments, sightseeing tours, travel guides and other related services in 112 countries. The Company was acquired in 2005 by Cendant Corporation, one of the world's largest and most geographically diverse conglomerates of travel brands and distribution businesses. In 2006, Cendant sent me to GTA's office in India to oversee and project manage the establishment of their new office in Delhi.
