2006 - maintenantResponsible for the coverage of Banks-and Non-Banks FIs in the British Islands, Nordic countries and GCCs. Examples of actions led:
- First time arranging of repo-styled and securitised loan facilities. For instance, we have worked with internal/external legal counsels to set up for one of our customers a syndicated credit facility secured by a portfolio of participations in syndicated loan facilities for corporate/FIs in emerging countries.
- Co-origination and arranging with Syndications of 8 mandates and MLA roles in 2007 for existing customers. These transactions are large medium term syndicated credit facilities arranged for banks and non-banks. They also include Islamic financings as we pioneered for Natixis participating into Islamic-structured credit facilities.
- Development of new relationships to support Natixis’ different business lines. We endeavour to leverage credit provided to our customers to generate cross-selling opportunities for other business lines (notably Capital Markets and Asset Management). Examples of cross-selling opportunities generated include (i) credit support to a UK life insurer which has led to a mandate for managing money market funds on behalf of this customer or (ii) leverage of our participation in a murabaha facility to allow our treasury to take short term deposits from an Islamic bank using a Sharia compliant structure.

2005 - 2005Fully integrated into the former Global Relationship Banking Team in Financial Institutions group, I worked on managing the client relationship on a daily basis. I have been involved in the origination of new relationships and marketing projects. Finally, I assisted in the preparation of credit proposals and response for tenders for both banks and non-bank financial institutions. Examples of actions led:
- Introduction of London brokers to a large US NBFI in order to develop solutions to improve their funding and liquidity management.
- Marketing of Agency Treasury Services to a tier-2 American bank to provide cash advances in European currencies on their behalf and in favour of their European customers.
- Presentation and selling process of Client Cash Manager to a large automotive consumer finance lender.
In addition, LTSB gave me the opportunity to participate to:
- The IBOT programme offering me a comprehensive understanding of LTSB’s correspondent banking services.
- An internal sales/negotiation skills development seminar.
- Other conferences: Fitch conference on the evolution of banking sectors, conference on the future pan-European payment clearing house (PEACH)…

2004 - 2005I worked in the team responsible for global trade finance, buyer’s credit, country risks and correspondent banking in Asian countries. Tasks included, analysing Asian banking and macroeconomic systems, drafting credit committees (letter of credit, buyer’s credit, banker’s acceptance…) and managing Natexis Banques Populaires’ banking limits (in collaboration with the foreign exchange desk in Hong Kong).
