2007 - 2011During my postdoc at Weill Medical College of Cornell University (WCMC), in the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience, I studied Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), by phenotypically and biochemically characterizing a mouse model expressing SOD1 targeted to mitochondria. I have acquired extensive In vivo and In vitro experience in Neuroscience, Toxicology as well as Mitochondrial and Metabolic Dysfunctions.
During my scientific career, I have acquired broad and advanced research skills in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, metabolism and bioenergetics, histology, as well as animal handling and behavior in a wide spread range fields of investigation (pharmacology, toxicology, and neuroscience). Along the years, I have shown proof of my versatility and my ability to multi-task.
