I completed a PhD in Immunology and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and I am currently working on the development of immunotherapeutic vaccines for cancers.
My dual training, in Veterinary Medicine and in Immunology, and the positions I occupied in human and veterinary pharmaceutical companies have provided me with a unique expertise in human and veterinary vaccines and adjuvants, in immunology applied to leads identification, selection and development, in animal models development and in teams and projects management.

    Melbourne 2012 - 2015 Providing DROIA with immunotherapy expertise for the evaluation of the new investment
    Delegated by DROIA to Australia for coordinating and leading the local activity for PX Biosolutions (PXB), including: leading the pre-clinical and clinical activity, coordinating the CMC activity, setting up local and international network, administrating day to day activity for PXB.
    PXB is a Melbourne-based biotechnology company. PXB’s main focus is the development of its proprietary vaccine platform, DCtag. This technology utilizes nanoparticles to deliver peptides to the immune system as the basis for prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines with demonstrated bioactivity in animal models for various human and animal infectious diseases, allergy and cancer.

  • Genticel - Senior Director, Immunology

    2010 - 2012 Leading the immunology and biomolecular activity of Genticel, a company dedicated to HPV therapeutic cancer vaccine development. My function includes the management of a team of 4PhD, 2 Engineers and 2 technicians, participation to key decisions regarding new candidate selection and new immunisation scheme definition, support of business activity, support of immune response monitoring in clinical studies, providing key preclinical data for vaccine candidate currently in phase I.

    Lyon 2008 - 2010 The head of the adjuvant and immunomodulation platform is responsible for:
    Leading a team of dedicated experts aiming at anticipating strategic needs for Merial by identifying, evaluating and selecting new adjuvants and immunomodulators for the development of new biological products.

  • MERIAL - Head of the immunology laboratory

    Lyon 2007 - 2010 the head of immunology laboratory is responsible for:
    Management of a team of 2 engineers and 4 technicians. Actively participating and providing its technical and scientific expertise to the R&D project teams, providing innovative solutions to improve Merial vaccines value for the market, actively participate to the recognition of Merial as a high scientific value and innovative enterprise by representing Merial during veterinarian and scientific meetings and via peer review publications, Building an external network of partners within the local (Biopole), national and international scientific communauty in order to improve internal scientific and technical immunological expertise

  • Merial - Veterinary Immunologist

    Lyon 2006 - 2007 The Veterinary immunologist is in charge of:
    the evaluation of the immune response in veterinary species and in particular vaccine-induced immune response and pathogen-induced immunopathology in production and companion animals.
    The acquisition of knowledge on the particularities of immunity and infectious diseases immunopathology in veterinary species and development of immunological tools dedicated to the monitoring of veterinary species immune response.
