En résumé

Aude Archambault received her Master of Science at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie of Nancy (France) and at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (Spain) in 2002. Since then, she has worked as a hydrogeologist / environmental engineer, specializing in hydrogeology and environmental contamination. Her extensive project experience includes hydrogeologic studies, hydrology / surface water studies, environmental impact assessment, human health risk assessment, contaminant remediation assessment, waste management, and expert review in the areas of industrial and mining environment, wastewater, and waste storage.

Between 2002 and 2006, Ms. Archambault worked in an environmental consulting company (BURGEAP), in France. She was in charge of projects related to contaminated soils and waters. She became project manager for various studies in France and internationally. In particular, she worked in Guinea for a bauxite and aluminia mining complex (Environmental Impact Assessment, recommendations for red mud discharge neutralization process).
Between 2006 and 2009, Ms. Archambault worked for BRGM (French Geological Survey) on projects involving environmental risk assessment, natural attenuation of organic compounds in the subsurface water and contaminated sites management. She was in charge of several expert reports related to groundwater contamination and environmental risk assessment. In particularly, she was the hydrogeologist expert of the European project “SYSMIN II” that studied the historic contamination of the gold mine of Pueblo Viejo in Dominican Republic (2007-2008).

Ms. Archambault worked as an international independent consultant during 4 yeras for several studies in Europe, Africa and in the Dominican Republic (Hydrogeological studies, Industrial and mining environment, wastewater, waste storage studies and Environmental Impact Assessment). In particular, she worked in Dominican Republic for the Santo Domingo Sanitary Sewer Master Plan and in Guinea for a Mining exploration Project. Currently she is working for the Spanish Cooperación (AECID) for water and sanitary projects in Dominican Republic.
