I am an accomplished technical project manager with strong system architecture experience. I started my career as a System Integration Engineer, working on high performance guidance systems. After developing my understanding of the design, test and manufacturing of complex systems, I turned to pre-sales activities. In this role I was required to write technical offers, quotations and scheduling to satisfy a variety of international customers. During this period, I was also managing the manufacturing follow-up team, thereby developing solid people and project management experience. In order to increase my involvement in international projects I moved away from military applications to work on a civilian project within a European Consortium and took the lead role for Sagem's research and technology activities on highly integrated electrical actuator systems for commercial aircraft. I built a technical team of 10 people from scratch and am now managing projects worth over €3m with an average of 16 000 hours per year.
