o Daily Control of wastage, chiller temperature, WH arrangement, SA implementation/planogram, reopening, ordering and receiving local products, expiry checking and clearance follow up.
o Ensure the hygiene and food safety policy of the company in compliance with the local governmental guidelines.
o Ability to achieve targets (Sales, margin, Cost, stock level)
o Perform all the necessary tasks to develop sales and satisfy customers.
o Manage, lead, motivate and control the team (12 staff and 20 merchandisers).
o Recognize potential staff, conduct appraisals and performance reviews as well as provide on the job training and feedback for career development.
o Fix the weekly schedule - the yearly leave plan - the training program in accordance with the HR department.
o Promote and practice communication and participatory management within the teams.
o Negotiate and make deals with suppliers to push sales and to achieve targets.
o Secure the application of the Merchandise plan and ensure its consistency with national strategy / Develop new merchandise concepts and build/modify Planogram. / Propose plans to increase profitability and productivity
o Be informed about retail developments and innovations.
o Keep good / fair working relations with suppliers. Stay informed about the competitions actions and take appropriate measures.
o Store duty manager in weekly basis
o Weekly ordering of 2000 Import items (France – UK –USA –Tunisia )
o Monthly inventory organization , correction and explanation
