Barthelemy Blede has an important expertise in maritime issues including maritime safety and security, law of the sea, maritime law, maritime economics and port/shipping management. He possessed a long working experience in all those matters with over 23 years in the maritime domain.
Doing consultancies with the General Secretariat of the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA) and participating in several important meetings of MOWCA, ECOWAS, UEMOA and the African Union Commission addressing maritime issues, he is a specialist of the Gulf of Guinea.
Blede is highly skillful in developing seminars and delivering presentations. He has published articles on maritime security in specialized newspapers.
